The pneumatic amplifier YT-300 is an auxiliary device. It is actually a pneumatic power amplifier installed in the air circuit leading to the actuator to receive the pressure signal from the outlet of the positioner and provide a large flow to the actuator to improve the action speed of the valve. Pneumatic amplifiers at 1:1 (the ratio of signal to output) are used to transmit pneumatic signals over long distances (0-300 meters) in order to minimize the impact of transmission lag.

It has the following characteristics:

　　Sensitive to small changes in input signals.
