Knife gate valves are available in configurations of both concealed and exposed stem, based on different diameters. The full circular straight-through channel ensures no residue accumulation and obstruction. The bottom of the knife gate is shaped into a blade to cut soft materials such as fibers, paper and wood pulp, and it also ensures smooth opening and closing performance.
The valve body and stuffing box are precision case, with the former cast as a flanged integral structure. The material options such as 304, 316, WCB, 2Cr13 are available based on user preferences, and the sealing ring is made of PTFE.
The reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene material is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and non-adherent to residue.
The valve disc has five support points, ensuring excellent self-centering effect. In the closed position with back pressure applied, the valve disc remains free from displacement.
The interior of the knife gate valves can be configured with V-shaped, triangular, or pentagonal channels. The V-shaped gate can be utilized for regulatory control purposes.
The connection options for knife gate valves include wafer and lug types, and the sealing options include hard sealing of metal-to-metal, and soft sealing of metal-to-polyamide and reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene.
