  The purpose of electric actuators:

When it comes to the purpose of electric actuators, it is actually to convert the rotary motion of the motor into the desired operation (linear operation/rotary operation) to achieve the operation that the electric actuator needs to achieve. And it has remote control function and ground control function, which can be operated electrically or manually.

The basic actuator is used to drive the valve to the fully open or fully closed position. The actuator used to control the valve can accurately move the valve to any position. Although most actuators are used for opening and closing valves, the design of today's actuators goes far beyond simple switching functions. They include position sensing devices, torque sensing devices, electrode protection devices, logic control devices, digital communication modules, and PID control modules, all of which are installed in a compact housing.

Electric actuators are driving devices for various types of electric valves in rotary control systems, used to control the opening and closing of valves. They are suitable for valves with angular travel such as butterfly valves, ball valves, and air dampers, and can accurately act according to control instructions. They are essential driving devices for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.

  The characteristics of electric actuators:

Small and lightweight, easy to disassemble and maintain, and can be installed in any position. The structure is simple and compact, and the 90 degree rotation opens quickly. Low operating torque, labor-saving and lightweight. The flow characteristics tend to be linear, with good regulation performance. The sealing material is resistant to aging, corrosion, and can be used in various media. It is widely used in water plants, power plants, steel mills, papermaking, chemical industry, catering and other systems for water discharge, as well as for regulation and cut-off use. And it has convenient energy access, fast signal transmission speed, long transmission distance, convenient centralized control, high sensitivity and accuracy, convenient coordination with electric regulating instruments, and simple installation and wiring. The disadvantage is that the structure is complex, the thrust is small, and the average failure rate is higher than that of pneumatic actuators. It is suitable for places with low explosion-proof requirements and a lack of air sources.
